The good news for fleets in New York and New Jersey is that state incentives now rival California’s programs in offering substantial relief from increased premiums of EVs over ICE vehicles. However, navigating the constantly shifting maze of grants, rebates, and incentives is no easy task. This seminar will explain NY and NJ VIP programs along with surrounding state-specific grants, how to apply, and how they can complement substantial federal incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act. They’ll also learn about funding for charging infrastructure in state programs and utilities’ make-ready funds, as well as funds disbursement through the massive National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program.
